Fletcher Longstaff have recently added the Legal Eye Quality Standard to their artillery of achievements.
The award-winning Lincoln-based firm have grown from strength to strength recently. Last year they picked up top prizes at both the LFS Conveyancing Awards and the ESTAs. And continue to have ambitious growth plans. The team view best practice and compliance to be integral to their future success. We aren’t just good conveyancing lawyers, we will always go above and beyond for our clients.
What is the Legal Eye Quality Standard?
The Legal Eye Quality Standard (LEQS) is recognised to be one of only a few assessment schemes. Addressing those rules and regulations which go over and above the traditional quality standards. The LEQS is awarded to good conveyancing lawyers, who have demonstrated compliance with the Code of Conduct. But also with additional legislation including the E-Commerce Directive, the Bribery Act 2010 and the Equality Act 2010. It also covers areas such as referral and fee sharing, and publicity. As well as treating customers fairly.
Adam Cheal, Director of Fletcher Longstaff expressed delight in receiving this latest accolade. Stating: “We are an ambitious and expanding conveyancing firm. Therefore, we completely understand the importance of having the most relevant, up to date risk procedures in place. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team. The Legal Eye Quality Standard is now displayed in our reception, as well as on our website and marketing collateral.”
Norman Denton, Senior Compliance Associate at Legal Eye says: “It’s been a real pleasure working with Adam and the team. I would like to congratulate the whole firm on building solid processes. That protect their firm, employees and customers in this age of heightened risk. It’s clear that best practice is encompassed in everything they do.”
